Middlesex University and SPINNA Circle sign an MoU
Middlesex University and SPINNA Circle recognise the common interest to cooperatively pursue activities and projects that build economic growth and enhance research and business opportunities for artisans and designers, women entrepreneurs and professionals in the fashion, textiles and accessories industry.
Now therefore, in recognition of this mutually beneficial relationship, Middlesex University and SPINNA Circle agree to enter into this MoI to explore the possibilities to:

- a) Jointly cooperate on topics of common academic, research, business and promotional interest;
- b) Leverage respective and collective capabilities for the benefit of those served;
- c) Jointly work towards gender empowerment and global collaboration through micro enterprise;
- d) Research enabling technologies towards facilitating interaction amongst female artisan-entrepreneurs in crafts, textiles, fashion, interiors and accessories globally;
- e) Developing archives and facilitating research on traditional and artisanal skillsets in crafts, textiles, fashion, interiors and accessories;
- f) Through respective networks and connections, engage with and encourage female artisans and students to further their academic and / or business interests in the sector of crafts, fashion, textiles and accessories by connecting through the SPINNA Circle networks, bringing more female entrepreneurs into the forefront of the business;
- g) Providing skills exchange opportunities towards the enhancement of the global industry;
- h) Cooperate on possible joint activities and projects.
