Adopting best practises at SSE London – linking women in the UK
SPINNA Circle Founder and Director Rupa Ganguli won a place on the highly competitive start up course run by School for Social Entrepreneurs (SSE) with project ‘SPINNA Circle’ for the 2013-2014 cohort in London. Through a focused selection process, with extensive jury panels and interviews, the programme aims to select the top concepts and supports the development of these early stage social enterprises through the process of becoming sustainable businesses. The programme is made up of study blocks as well as action group learning sets and mentoring elements. Lloyds Banking Group and Big Lottery UK through their partnership with the SSE run the one year programme across the UK.
SPINNA Circle is delighted to be part of this great programme. Already just three group days of course work and study block days have brought in so much value and the peer network of the cohort is just amazing.
SSE was founded in 1997 by Michael Young.
“mission is to address inequalities and social exclusion by supporting social entrepreneurs from all backgrounds to transform their talent into real social outcomes, in the form of sustainable solutions to poverty and disadvantage in communities – See more at: http://www.the-sse.org/about-us#sthash.fOPKvJES.dpuf
